Club 10

At Slimming World the first target you are set is to loose 10 % of your body weight. It’s not been easy but 8 weeks in me and Luke have both managed this. We have done this by following the slimming world plan. Not only is it quite an achievement for us both to have lost this weight, we are starting to look better and there are untold health benefits to doing so.

Here is some inspiration that I hope will help you reach your goals and will be inspiring to help us reach our next goal. We know there is still along way to go but as our previous post shows there have been lots of reasons to celebrate this month.

These are the top 10 reasons to loose 10% of your body weight is your BMI is above 30.

10. Better blood pressure
9.   Improved heart health and lower cholesterol levels
8.   Decreased risk for diabetes
7.   Enhanced sex life
6.   A better night’s sleep for those with obstructive sleep apnea
5.   Less pain associated with arthritis, joint disease, and lower back pain.

3.   Decreased risk for colon and breast cancer
2.   A healthier gallbladder
1.   More energy

If that’s not motivation enough then check out this picture, I know there’s plenty of weight to loose still but we are celebrating this specific goal. 😀
